Qui e Lì – Here and There: A photo essay on the life and hometowns of Italian Australians

Qui e Lì is a book about Italy and Italian Australians. It is both a photographic book and a social history. In 152 black and white photographs and a series of brief histories, it introduces twelve Italian Australian families and records many of the hometowns and cities from which Italian Australians migrated.

"Jane Burton Taylor's photographs offer an exceptional, 'fly-on-the-wall' perspective on a secret, unexplored world – both past and present – the world of modest, hard-working Australians, who are part of the backbone of this great, multicultural country, adopted by so many migrants."
